MARCIJ®-LC gel technology ULTRA SEAL POLY PLUG®

DESCRIPTION: A proprietary blend of fibrous, granular and flake materials combined with MARATHON OIL COMPANY'S MARCIT®- LC gel technology.

FEA TURES: ULTRA SEAL-POLY PLUG" is a blend of ULTRA SEAL-XP\ ULTRA SEAL-C® and additional larger proprietary sealing agents combined with one of Marathon's time controlled crosslinking polymers. This blend expands the superior range of particle sizes that are consistent with the existing product line, and. also causes the slurry to solidify to a-consistency of rubber.
This unique characteristic establishes a strong bridge within the thief zone, and allows the specialized fibers found in the ULTRA SEAL-XP® and ULTRA SEAL-C® to fill any fractures that may be present prior to the slurry solidifying.
By the inclusion of these larger particles and a time controlled crosslinking polymer, effective control of rigid type fractures, vugular or unconsolidated formations and liighly permeable thief zones can be achieved.

TREATMENT: ULTRA SEAL®-POLY PLUG™ is normally recommended in concentrations of 40 ppb mixed in batches of 100 to 300 bbis and spotted across the loss zone.

PACKAGING: 40 pound net in multi-wall, plastic lined, paper bags.

The Ultra Seal fibers establish a strong bridge within the thief zone while the crosslinking polymer causes the slurry to solidify to a rubber-consistency useful in many applications. Ultra Seal-Poly Plug gel/sealant introduces a superior range of particle sizes, consistent with M&D Industries' existing products.This is accomplished by using both Ultra Seal-XP DFA and Ultra Seal-C" LCM as well as additional larger proprietary sealing agents. Before the slurry solidifies, these particles fill any fractures present.
